After 30 years without a major design overhaul, the 51-year-old fast-food giant is adopting a hip new look. The world's largest hamburger chain is redesigning its 30,000 eateries around the globe in a 21st century makeover of unprecedented scale.
Moultrie's McDonald's will get it's "extreme makeover" in 2009 according to the company.

McDonald's in Moultrie ought to be sued for false advertisement! After 3 months of anticipation, I couldn't wait to see our new restaurant. I was somewhat shocked to see it suddenly opened tonignt since it was never advertised for a grand opening. I thought that is what the new electronic sign is for! We decided to stop by for dinner only to be extremely disappointed. The dining room is small and cramped. It's sad when our old McDonald's was bigger. There is little to no atmosphere not unless you count the rudeness of Shameka or Shequetta the cashier. It is not kid friendly what so ever. I can see making it more comfortable for adults but come on where is the nostalgia for the kids??? If you don't want to put in a good old fashion playground at least put in some kind of entertainment for the youngsters! And would it hurt to put one picture of the icon that McDonald's is known for.....Ronald?????? When did we as a society start wanting everything so serious? Isn't anything fun and sacred anymore? There are no parks for the kids to play in already in Moultrie. I thought since they ground up the old play equipment that it would be replaced with safer and better ones. I was wrong. Now we are reduced to a smaller, boring, and even more hectic restaurant! What a waste.. I think they could saved money and kept the old one.. at least we were used to the sucky service and had some place to sit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 THUMBS DOWN!!!
